77-80 makes sense for Venom with that Friday

10

22.3

27.7 (+24%)

17.2 (-38%)

= 77.2

175 dom is a done deal as with a 77+ ow it would need less than 2.3x multiplier. 200 dom would be twice its prod budget. RT Aud score steady at 89%.

Predator will end with 51-52 dom (2.1x multiplier) after 24.6 ow.

A Simple Favor will get to at least 57.0 (3.6x multiplier) after 16.0 ow. The prod budget is only 22 or so.

Smallfoot has a great hold of -35% for a 15 weekend (better than Stork's -37%). Should go past 80 dom.

Wrong.

BvS made money but was a financial disappointment which is why some heads rolled at WB.

JL was doomed as soon as they decided to go ahead and make JL with Snyder who half the execs wanted gone and then they failed to actually supervise the film or do their job as execs until it was too late and they realized it was another shit show then scrambled to fix it on the cheap and in a rush with Whedon so they could all get their bonuses b/4 the AT&T merger.

JL was doomed the moment WB started heavily meddling with it because they succumbed to public pressure of some of the loud audience whose opinion they shouldn't have listened to, because frankly it sucks. MoS and BvS (Extended) are perfectly fine and some of the better comic book movies.

He isn't, of course. Venom earned this money, not "boy Tommy". Boy Tommy- the 1,8 mln in NA with "Legend"

Venom was heavily marketed by Hardy's name and Legend didn't even have wide release and much marketing, so it's a dumb comparison.

True, because Tom Hardy isn't in A-list and his name can't make money. That's why Universal didn't take risks and spend money to P&A.

I love Tom Hardy as an actor, but it doesn't mean I should wear a glasses with pink lenses. Welcome in real word @Firepower.

A Star Is Born gets a solid A CinemaScore tonight and a 90% on PostTrak and 4.5 stars. Who doesn’t love the movie? Females turned out at 66% to guys’ 34%; both gave it a solid A. Over 50 bunch at 42% graded it  A. Under 25ers may have been small in their turnout at 14%,  but they loved the Cooper-directed movie the most with an A+. Those over 25 who made up 86% of the audience gave A Star Is Born an A.

Urban Legend 1 :

The World needed an extended version of BvS

Urban Legend 2 :

People who survived the theatrical cut like to spread the insidious rumor that 30 more minutes of BVS makes it a truly great film.

Urban Legend 3 :

Release the Snyder Cuts, forever and always.

Seems you are really triggered that fans loved the Ultimate Cut. And yes, the full version of the film is truly great.

Great start for Venom. Hope they will bring Spider-man for the next movie. I would love to see Andrew Garfield again. That would be awesome.

It is time to show how huge the star power Michelle Williams has this past year.

1. She made The Greatest Showman a leggy film.

2. She made I Feel Pretty a mid-sized film.

3. And now, Venom is going to break the October record.

Hail Michelle Williams
