The power of the performer and the movie will hinge on what the actors deliver on screen, sure, and if they're good enough, they can make an audience overlook any other psychological pre-dispositions about their persona(s).  The fact that Marvel/Disney is selling her front and center in the trailer proves that they believe the same (as well as leaning into Bassett...logically!).  And from the little we see...she's delivering.

The majority of his credits are in Mexican films and independent horror.  I never heard of this guy before this movie...I imagine it's the same for many...it's his first major A-list Hollywood featured role and highest-profile gig, and he scored a role that could potentially be a-decade-long multi-film franchise... so no matter how many years of credits, yes, this is by far his biggest break!

Numbers on youtube are "lower" cause the tweet with the trailer on the Marvel studios account has a gigantic number of 276k retweet and even 104k quotes. A lot of people are finding the trailer on their twitter timeline so they don't need to search it on Youtube or click on a recommended thumbnail in the same site.

Looks incredible. Even if it ends up being a mess plot-wise (which would be more than understandable), it's completely going to land emotionally and that'll make it another phenomenon.

The first movie was female heavy as well. Like it got a ton of praise for all the female characters. With Chadwick's death and Daniel Kaluuya not returning idk what people expect lmao.
