I know nobody gives a shit but this is kind funny/curious to me. Back in 2016 Doctor Strange sold around 145.000 tickets in total here (opened to like 45.000 tickets sold in 4 days). It was absolutely crushed on like week 4 by Fantastic Beasts which sold a stunning 330.000+ tickets here in total (110.000 tickets on OW). Fast forward 6 years and Fantastic Beasts 3, which currently sits at 210.000 tickets sold after a month in theaters (60.000 tickets sold on OW), was destroyed by DS2 which opened to a monster 125.000 tickets sold in 4 days. How times change.

Cause in most of updates I've seen are Dr Strange taking biggest opening since this & that, strong opening, big opening and what not.

Heh heh John That tobey maguire return and all the nostaglia hype of nwh is fuelling Dr strange monster sequel big time. I also think Sam rami as the director and hope to see Tobeys spidey in this as well as other cameos and heroes helped it to attract the lion share of audiences. The film tho wasnt as great as it could be.  l gave it a 7.5-7.8 out of 10. Still one of the best comic films this year and a good return for Raimi. I think this could hit over 550m-7O0m btw
