The DC movie is definitely Birds of Prey, will they stick there or maybe move a week ahead. No idea what the Disney live action movie might be, by 2020 all non blockbuster Disney movies will probably go to their streaming service.

I think WB would not risk facing Bond even with a week's head start.

Just read that profile you mentioned. It's basically Fukunaga begging Hollywood to give him movies to direct and saying "I will do anything and not complain"

yeah when i read it i kinda figured that a franchise would be his next move. this makes the most sense i guess.

Skyfall was great! Spectre was ok....

I hope this is good!

Hope so too.

This JB-franchise (with Daniel Craig) is pretty interesting when it comes to the reception.

The odd-numbered movies are considered some of the best and the even-numbered movies are considered just ok/decent. Will the next one repeat that cycle and be like Casino Royale & Skyfall?

I have some trepidation as to whether Fukunaga's been allowed enough time to prep for such a large undertaking. Lea Seydoux's return is a step in the right direction, especially considering the current climate. Not to mention she's a fantastic actress.

Lea Seydoux is back, Fiennes, Whishaw and Harris all also confirmed. Linus Sandgren will DOP.

No doubt they are bringing Seydoux back to kill her off in the beginning

Birds of Prey is apparently going to have a budget well below $100 million, owing to the R-rating, so it doesn't really need to compete as hard with Bond (and for this one I pray there isn't any overspending like Spectre).
