Al6though in this case I would not find it hard to believe they will revert to the Purvis Wade script,and hire them for a final quick polish. THye have one virtue as film writers:They can work fast,which is a real necessity here. Of course this might not be great from a quality point of view

I think the producers judged his directorial abilities on True Detective season one (Who Goes There episode comes to mind) and Beasts Of No Nation rather than Jane Eyre.

CJF is actually a brilliant choice, and I'm now far more excited about this than when DB was at the helm. As other posters have stated, TD Season 1 was a masterpiece.
