It's amazing that 20 years later, that sentiment is still around.  $30 million is still seen as a bar for success.  That was the case in the 90s too.

I was hoping for a bit more but that's fine too. If it manages to open over 30M, it might have a shot at 100M total, considering the only direct competition would come from Dracula Untold, that openes in 3 weeks. After that it would have another 3 weeks of almost no direct competition and I think it could keep IMAX to itself till Interstellar.

It's losing all of its IMAX theaters to The Equalizer next weekend.

I think Maze Runner may have a good Friday compared to Thursday. It seems to have less rush factor than Divergent.

My buddy and I are hanging out on Wednesday and he wanted to see The Giver and Walk Between The Tombstones....I had to put a stop to that and had to say you choose one movie, I will choose the other. So it looks like Giver or Tombstones and either The Drop, Tusk, or Cops
