This looks cool to me but at what point do you still get to call your movie Robin Hood if you have basically changed almost all of it from the original tale? This is gonna backfire real badly.

Nice poster anyway.

I liked Guy Richie's King Arthur

But do these medieval movies do well at the box-office anymore...

No, they mostly don't, sadly. I really enjoyed King Arthur too and I feel like I might enjoy this one as well but I doubt I will enjoy it as much as King Arthur from what I saw in this trailer and I doubt most of the audience will enjoy much of it at all.

This might do even worse than King Arthur at the box office.

One thing you can say about this Robin Hood, is that it's not your father's Robin Hood.  The trailer makes him look more like a Jedi or a super hero than just a simple man who lead the impoverished and the subjugated against the rulers of the land.

I've not been following this and that trailer is my first real exposure.

Is Taron playing Robin Hood & Royalty? He is what, part of a royal family and he's wanting to make a change but the family won't stand for it, sends him to the Crusades only for him to come back with skills to become RH. He's robbing from his family to give to the poor? Is that about right?

Also, I can't help but chuckle at Jaime Foxx yet again taking an ethnicity swapping role. Went so well for the last time he did that.
