Hatebox
I doubt this movie will be good but I also think that having a younger Drake to separate it from functionally-already-movies videogames is a better idea than it first seems. Momori
Tom Holland just isn't it man. I'm sorry. It feels like I'm watching Spider-Man without the suit. He feels nothing like Nathan Drake. Edited October 21, 2021 by Momori
CoolioD1
tom holland's youthful enthusiasm is gone officially in his "dead behind the eyes doing it for the paycheck" era. Edited October 21, 2021 by CoolioD1

John Marston
Looks all right. Tom Holland still feels like Peter Parker. CGI looks awful
Maggie
I like Tom Holland, seems like a nice kid, but he strikes me more of the awkward kid in movies, not the handsome lead. He should do "weird" movies, not action hero 3
Momori
The fact that they cast Tom Holland as Nathan Drake just screams cash grab. But even so there is so many things that doesn't fit. Mark Wahlberg as Sully? Really. 1
filmlover
The overabundance of CGI is too much lol. You can tell that this was made during the time when COVID-19 protocols were at their most strict.
Rainy
I really wonder how this will do at the box office tbh...
CJohn
Atomic mega bomb incoming. The CGI looks atrocious, wtf is this. 12/30

AJG
I’ll say what I said when the Resi trailer came out. This looks exactly like the game but those games are paper thin when it came to anything outside of set pieces. I was super surprised there’s villains in all 4 games when I went to replay them last year. I didn’t remember a thing about them. That’s how forgettable most of this franchise is. Also the final setpiece in the trailer is straight out of one of the games. The game just looks better. The quality is more consistent. There’s no switching from CG to live action, it just stays the same.

Saul Goodman
Looks ok. Set pieces look straight out of the game, so that's a plus imo.
Elessar
*sigh* It could have been a solid Indiana Jones / National Treasure style adventure but of course they had to screw it up by miscasting. This looks like a school trip gone wrong. Sometimes i wonder how some of the folks working in Hollywood keep their jobs when they so clearly don't know what they are doing... 1
Noctis
They REALLY fucked up with the casting. The games are insanely fun and genuinely transport you but I felt none of that here.
YM!
The trailer is okay, definitely not as bad as I expected. There’s some wonky CGI at the end with the plane sequence. Ironically, Tom Holland as a young Nathan Drake feels more than a miscast than Marky Mark as Sully, lol. Tom doesn’t have the charismatic rogue confidence that Drake has as it feels like watching him as Spider-Man. But hey, the sooner Hollywood learns that Holland isn’t viable box office wise outside of Spider-Man and stops casting in almost every blockbuster, the better. Hatebox
Wahlberg's somehow an even bigger miscast than Holland, even playing a younger version of the Sully character. It's like they really couldn't be fucked. Edited October 21, 2021 by Hatebox
