They thankfully do not address whether farts make enough sound to attract the monsters. That would totally destroy the atmosphere of the movie if they had a scene like that, c'mon lol.

The only reasons this would be rated R are a) if it was an absolute gore fest, but this is mostly tension horror, and b ) foul language, obviously not a big issue for this one.

For The Quiet Place to have good legs, it's going to have to be better received than films like Babadook and The Witch.  I hope it's a good film, really I do.  And with PD being behind it, I have confidence in it, but I've been burned before.

Seems to be much more GA-friendly than those two. Those were more art-house horror, this seems like excellently-made mainstream horror.
