Golden Army had a surprisingly strong opening. What did it in was opening just a week before TDK. If the budget is low enough and they go for a more classic horror vibe, this could make bank.

No clue but Golden Army's setting was fucking awesome and I hope they take some cues from that.

grim22
The only way the movie works out is a lower budget and a release way out of summer, like January.

Nah I guess I was being a bit unfair to him, he's actually got some interesting stuff to say from time to time but does get condescending here and there.
Zakiyyah6
Sorry but I agree with his assessment. This cast especially with the addition of Resident Jovovich screams less than b list.

And I really like Marshall's films, and I'm glad to see this actress getting a relatively big break like this...she's great in American Honey. John Marston
I haven't seen either Hellboy film, but I remember this story in my 7th grade Global Studies class, my teacher was talking about some other countries entertainment and then she went on some rant about how terrible it is a movie called Hellboy was number one at the box office. She went like "what a horrible title, how can anyone watch a film like that? It really shows that Americans don't have the best taste in movies" or something like that. Morieris
Quote “Ed came to us and felt very strongly about this. We fully support his unselfish decision,” Lionsgate, the studio behind the reboot, said in a statement. “It was not our intent to be insensitive to issues of authenticity and ethnicity, and we will look to recast the part with an actor more consistent with the character in the source material.” http://variety.com/2017/film/news/ed-skrein-exits-hellboy-whitewashing-1202540677/ "It wasn't our intention" then how did it even get far enough to cast him? Much respect to him for stepping down, but Lionsgate thought that no one would care enough to ignore the movie since it wasn't the lead. They didn't think they hired someone with a conscious.
