If it's good, it'll be a big hit for sure. Hype is huge and the character is much more popular and famous than people think, just like with Deadpool, people seriously underestimated him too before movie's release.

This looks, sounds, and feels just like a blockbuster greenlit 18 months before release. Which it was.

What accent is Tom hardy doing? New York? Venom looks good but everything else looks meh and wtf is up with some of the dialogue....

 

Hopefully they use they use the R rating to show off some cool kills.
