I won't be surprised with 3 even. Sunday can hit 100mn as well as usually Sunday is bigger than Friday.

What's play though is that so many shows on Friday were filled to near capacity, not just in the morning but late shows past midnight.  It's what will make it almost impossible for the usual MCU Saturday jump which would be closer to 20-25%  (18% for AIW) than 10%.

Sunday shows as of now have cut off late showings earlier than Friday and Saturday - though if if there's demand they can add them back.

I used BOM. Including China opening, WW OW is 513 (China opening isn't included in the WW opening page because it opened there a month later).

No way, it opened to $29m in China. $314m os WW opening weekend and a $960m total os.

I never thought I'd live to see the day where The Force Awakens' DOM record and Avatar's WW record were both in legitimate danger.

This Endgame OW is like if Jurassic World and The Force Awakens' OW's had an awesome orgy. TFA's batshit insane numbers blended with JW's "just keeps getting higher" shock and awe. It's the greatest box office event of all time. Period.

I haven't seen a clear consensus  to whether Endgame is more liked than Infinity War among the hardcore fanbase. GA might tell a different story though.

GA will like it much more. Not even close.

Whoever said Infinity War was better is insane. End Game makes Infinity War seem as bad Thor 2.

I liked that film as much as Shawshank Redemption.

I personally prefer IW as well. I just think it's a better overall movie. But EG has the better character and emotional beats and it's a perfect end to the current series. I do think there are plenty of people who agree with that, even if it is the minority. All the people I have spoken to in person have felt the same way, so I don't think it's THAT insanely rare...

I’m on the Endgame train. I really really liked IW. But wow I loved Endgame, watched i 2 times and have to see it a few more times. Think it might end up being one of my favourite movies.
