i'll be settling in just over 3 hours to AEG... so looking forward to it with all the great reports so far!  avoiding spoilers like the plague at the moment!

 

PS - looking around the Australian cinemas - there are as many sellouts as yesterday....  it will be very interesting where this lands today especially after a 10.2m OD (in AUD) (first time ever crossing 10m in a single day for a single film)

I don't care if the Russos' next movie is a slow romantic drama. I'm there for whatever they do next and for the rest of their career. These men have earned it.

Endgame has entered IMDB top 250 at #17 all time on their top 250 movies. It will rise as more votes come in.

Infinity War peaked at #9 for a while. Lets see if i can match or surpass that.

Superhero movies have a glass ceiling, no matter how hugely popular they are.

Star Wars in America is 4 Quadrant, Superhero movies I would say are 3 Quadrant at best.

Yeah before the numbers came in for presales I gave it a 0.5% chance, then after a 5% chance, then after opening day numbers (particularly China), I have it at a 10% chance. After watching it, I honestly think it has over a 20% chance at Avatar, Fan service in all the best possible ways, and the runtime just flies by. People will want to rewatch this in theatres, and I wouldn't be surprised by an A+ cinemascore. Still unlikely that it makes Avatar numbers, but right now I think it is actually a genuine chance.
