So much for a "Serious and Dark" DCU.....

Here we go again with these idiotic comments.

Do you anything about the Flash? Do you watch the tv show on CW?

David Sandberg a horror director is directing Shazam. Shazam is going to be the most lighthearted movie of the DCU so far. Doesn't mean because a director has a background on comedy or horror or drama that's the same style they are going to follow on their next film. They initially offered the gig to Ben Affleck, do you know Affleck as a comedic guy?

That news means studio is sure about "Game Night" quality and critic's ratings))

One good news.

Trailer was good! Was not expecting that at all after Vacation

Eh, no idea how to react to this. I liked Spider-Man: Homecoming, but they didn't direct it, and their filmography is very short. Lets hope they actually stay on the project though.

It could also mean that they're changing the original tone of the film too, which may have been darker. Remember the DCU is supposed to go through some major changes, post Justice League, which could also affect Flashpoint.

"Vacation" sucked and is a textbook example of how not to remake a classic.

"Homecoming" was pretty good certainly better then "Vacation".

"Game Night" looks like it could be fun, but the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

One thing is sure: DC wants a light, more comedic tone for "The Flash" movie.Which is a step forward;understanding that different heros require a different approach. One of the major mistakes they made was trying to use the "Batman" template for "Superman". Dark, moody and gloomy is great for Batman, that fits the character, but was wrong for Supes.

So they’re going the Marvel route I see.

Get small name and easy to control directors to helm your movies. No more “director driven” movies with big name directors being courted.

Can you blame them after the Snyder experience?
