I saw the footage. It looked very dark and unfortunately the effects didn't look as good as The Jungle Book.

Sorry to say, but this one simply doesn't have a chance to do all that well domestically.

The Warner dark & gritty curse strikes again.

Damn You Nolan !!!

Thanks for the feedback.

Finally! I assume it’s attached to Solo

It's being sent out the same time as Solo in hopes it will be shown with Solo, but that is not the same as attached. Only the studio releasing a film can physically attach a trailer to a movie, and Disney ain't doing Warners any favors.

Notice how  90% of the time the last trailer you see before the feature starts is from the same studio as the feature film is from? That is not a coincidence.

Guaranteed, the trailer most people will see right before Solo opens will be a Disney production. You might very well see a Mowgli trailer, but it will not be "attached " to the film.

^^

'placed with' is the correct industry term here. also interesting anecdotal thing about how UK handle 'attached' studio trailers, they always play them at the start of the trailer reel, not at the end (which is almost always reserved for a 'gold spot' from an advertiser and the cinema's 'turn off your phones PSA')

This might be the most unfortunate movie in history. You could be forgiven for thinking that was an Ad for the DVD release of the Disney film.

More like an ad for the straight to VOD sequel.  The people look great but those animals do not look good.
