I'm fine with ripping on WrathOfHan for things but come on guys he was literally just saying that Amy Adams is fine with being in blockbusters.

Hell there aren't many actors these days that are too good for both blockbusters and prestige films.

We should actually want to have accomplished/acclaimed actors in blockbuster fare rather than mostly unestablished/subpar ones anyway.

I get the subpar part but having unestablished names in blockbusters is just as important as having established ones.

The director himself.

Are you shooting those flashbacks now? When the kids are at that age?
MUSCHIETTI: No, I’m just praying that the kids don’t grow up.

Sounds like they could have planned this better and filmed the flashbacks during filming of the first movie. To be fair, I don't think they were ever expecting IT to be this huge.

The miniseries was smart enough to do that, but they were lucky enough to be able to film the whole thing at one go with both the kids and adult actors.

It was always cool whenever they flashbacked to the kids during the adult focused Part 2 of the miniseries. It connected both parts better, also they obviously could use what they couldn't fit in Part 1. Edited by Mojoguy

Without getting into spoilers, I wanted to put my two cents into the character ark argument.  IMO, they all go through significant characters arcs.  Ben, Bill, Mike, Bev, Richie, Stan and Eddie all start off as young kids and then have to deal with something extraordinary.  To say that Bill and Bev go through the greatest arc is fine, if it is your opinion.  IMO, they all go through really significant change.  Can't get into spoilers here but for those of you who have read the book, think about all they have been through.  It's pretty intense.

I felt that Eddie, Ben, and Richie were the most interesting members of the Losers Club, so yeah, I agree that they all have something to offer.

And for me, I liked Ben's story the best.  But this is all good news, it just means that King has written characters that appeal to many different people.
