He directed The Lost World and all the Indiana Jones films so you never know but I agree if there is a sequel to RPO he'll just be a producer

The Trailer fails to sell a world, that seems real. It looks fake, it feels heartless and i'm disappointed, Spielberg wasn't able to create a world, you'd love to take a journey to.

For me Spielberg's turning point was 2002. After the Minority-Catch me If you Can combo most things he has done is "just fine". His good movies are not really good enough to get me excited and his "bad" ones not really bad enough to stick out, just forgettable. I don't think he is "finished" and I'll still watch anything he makes but I'm way less excited about whatever his new movie is, than I was 10 years ago.

Spielberg's streak this decade was really good until BOS which was just "fine".

from the 21st century Bridge of Spies, AI, War of the Worlds and Catch Me If You Can are all great films deserving of being up there with the best of spielberg. the rest is pretty good. even the worst, probably the terminal, is still a fun time.

This is definitely a type of movie Spielberg does well. Not super excited for it, but Bridge of Spies was one of the best movies of last year, so I still think Spielberg has "it."
