Well, the first one was basically a big budget Syfy channel original movie, it was one of the funniest experiences I've had in the theater due to the crowd.  The dialogue(that things part raptor... etc), the Indian guy, the high heels, Indominous Rex, trained military raptors, Blue running in slow motion to save the day at the end, Raptor/T-Rex fist bump after they team up to defeat Indominous Rex, and so on got hysterical reaction in my theater.  

 

I don't mind the the right kind of schlock and I'm gonna be there on OW for this one.

off the top of my head pirates of the caribbean 2, transformers 2, captain america 2, thor 2, lord of the rings 2, hunger games 2, twilight 2, national treasure 2, ice age 2, austin powers 2, the matrix 2 aaaaaaaaand the squeakquel didn't.

Lol the squeakquel. Some of those already had subtitles in the first films- i guess i meant movies that went from one title to a sequel with subtitle. Transformers does fit that bill like you said.

The first thing that comes to mind when I see 'Fallen Kingdom' is Transformers. I can't help but read it in Optimus Prime's voice.

 

At least the tag line is as old school JP as it gets.
