Her and Alicia Vikander's Oscar glories that same year are probably (definitely?) going to look among the more puzzling to those who like to track the post-Oscar careers of acting winners going forward at this rate. But hey, she landed a major franchise afterwards, which is not at all a bad way to capitalize on your win.

At least Vikander did continue doing cool shit like that Irma Vep tv show, the Green Knight, and the music video for the last The Nationals album after she won her Oscar and her big action movie role.

Why would anyone want these to end? Few franchises are so very aware of what they are, and does with it as much as Fast and Furious. Just pure fun all the way through, and for every installment they manage to outdo the last in terms of being ridiculous. Wonderful entertainment.
