The Invisible Man | Feb 28 2020 | Will be available on VOD Friday March 20

At 2:10 that guy says the person who's trying to kill her is in the room...........(but they can't see him? ). it would be fun if that person is actually in the room and they CAN see him. hmmm.....aldis hodge what is your purpose in this movie?

on second thought, i don't believe Aldis is the bad guy. he has a daughter in the movie. they wouldn't make him the killer/invisible man. it's someone else they probably haven't shown the trailer

So this is a Dark Universe movie? Or no?

I think it's a standalone film. Don't know if they plan on later expanding if it succeeds. This looks like a good fit for Bloomhouse, a more low budget, psychological horror. Can't see them making a Dracula or a Frankenstein, and crossing over or teaming up the Universal Monsters.

It is but has no connection to The Mummy '17 (which was a failed attempt at launching an MCU-style universe which was cancelled after it flopped).

Okay, so in other words they're still going ahead with the cinematic universe, just re-launching it and cutting out The Mummy 17?

Hmm okay. That makes sense.
