Terminator: Dark Fate | Nov 1 2019 | Estimated to lose 122.6M

Salvation's future looking nothing like the Cameron movies bothered the hell out of me. The bad writing and acting except from the late Anton Yelchin. Genisys is hot trash but even it got the look right. Salvation should have been about the future war, not the start of it. The biggest problem is that you can see the bad last minute rewrites from that "really Marcus Wright was wearing John Connor's face" retcon nonsense. A real future war movie without a hack like McG at the helm would still be welcome by me.

By far the best Terminator film since T2 ...not perfect and it has its flaws but so enjoyable. Linda still kicks ass, Arnie hasnt been this good in years and the new cast is great as well especially Mackenzie Davis.

I had a blast and cant wait to see it again 🙂

Not well unfortunately (at least in Germany and France).

Dark Fate is a huge flop in France: it opened much worse than Genysis.

A shame, because the film received much better reviews than previous two terminator films. (In France,Dark Fate's critic reception is similar to John Wick 3 , Deadpool and T3.)

My final prediction from 16 Sep (I published it on another forum😞

Opening weekend: $26.5 mln

Domestic: $64 mln

Foreign: $240 mln

Worldwide: $304 mln

I maybe will see it on November 2nd if there'll be any previews. If not, Polish premiere is the last on Earth (as usual), Nov 8th.

that dom is pretty low

Deadline has it at $80-$105
