Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 3.138.

Comps (always counted on Tuesday for Friday): TSS (8M true Friday) had 1.089 sold tickets = 23M true Friday for Eternals,

SC (20.7M) had 2.672 sold tickets = 24.3M

and Dune (12.4M) had (later in the day) 2.919 sold tickets = 13.35M.

The counting today was a nice surprise. Eternals is not only in front of SC in my theaters, the performance in the different regions is also pretty even, I mean there's not one theater were it's doing bad.
Of course I have to warn that my numbers for Dune (also with lots of IMAX shows) for Friday were even compared to the worst comp 5-6M too high (the Thursday comp was close). So if I subtract around 1/3 from the TSS and SC comps it would be 16-18M true Friday at the moment.
OTOH two of my three comps were HBO Max releases, a problem that Eternals doesn't have (so the Dune comp above is too low and additionally Dune had fine numbers but small jumps in its last week, 20M would be more realistic).
I will add Venom 2 tomorrow. By the way, Venom 2 had on Friday for Friday 4.362 sold tickets (so Eternal has 3 days left to come closer or overtake) and again, Eternals could look better in my theaters than it really is due to the many IMAX shows. But still, you see that Eternals is not doing bad at the moment, even compared to Venom (72% with 3 days left).
Let's see how big the jumps are in the next days. For the moment that it already reached over 3.000 tickets is good.

SC added around 4900 in 23 hours in my check, so Eternals is slightly behind pace but not too bad. It built up enough in early sales (currently has a 12k lead over SC at the same point) that if it can keep sort of matching SC, it'll do 9.5-10 previews.

This is a 2-day pace. Still, I actually am pleased with this. Per @keysersoze123 SC added 6100 on Monday in ~26 hours, so its pacing higher than SC Fri.

$ Sales: 801365 (+26081)

 

So first thing is that the showcount burst was not very big, just like @TwoMisfits saw. But it still managed a healthy day of sales and has now fully caught up to SC's Thu pace (+7785 per Keyser, I consider this about the same considering we take the runs at different times). If this keeps up I don't see it going below 9.5 and it has a good shot at 10+. 

 

Friday:

Just like Thu, showcount jump was not huge. However, I like the pace here (SC sold about 10k on its Tuesday). Obviously not where it looked like from day 1 considering how bad last week was, but it has made an impressive recovery. If walkups are decent, should go for 80+. Given that the late day bumps have been strong, I think walkups should be good. Even with bad WOM, there won't be that much time for it to spread.

I would be surprised if it missed 75, but not shocked. Makes sense that they would project it there.

No comps with BW. I only have T-1 and Eternals will be behind. We will know tomorrow as to how much.

Ok its definitely making a strong comeback.  While Previews are still well behind SC growth for the day, Friday/Saturday growth are super strong. Definitely think double digit previews is back on the menu.

Another good day. Previews sales did not amp up as much as what I thought was possible after yesterday's sales. But Friday had ginormous increase in showcount and excellent ticket sales as well. Tomorrow Friday will overtake Previews PS.
