person 2: I am an English major, I want to teach high school

person 3: I am a Nursing major, I want to teach the doctors how to do their jobs

me: Im an economics and math major, I want my phd so I can teach at a university.

class: NERD!

 

In Economics Club (aka The Biggest Nerd Club, more profs in club than students)

prof: our book for the semester is going to be over sports economics!

me: ugh, there’s no rigor in that book!

all the profs: why are you such a big nerd?

Better to be a nerd than a casual.

Math is too hard to be cool IMO.

 

Physics would be cool to learn just to understand cosmology but idk not worth it for me. I'll just wait for Niel DeGrasse Tyson to explain it to me

They had a vote via text message. 

 

362 voted not to strike 

 

2 voted to strike. 

 

5500+ didn’t vote and this meant you voted to strike. 

 

So they’re striking.

I had a christmas party last month at the aforementioned imperial war museum where Jackson has got the footage from. got off with several girls. Praise PJ

People just think math is too hard, so they program their brain to tell them it’s hard, and then it’s hard!  But if you go in with a mind set on learning and open, it’ll all be straightforward!

 

Personally I think math is easier than humanities courses because there’s so much more strictness to it.  You being right isn’t up to the professor (most of the time, there are a few exceptions).

yeah, work christmas do. it's a popular venue, think there were about 800 people there. the party is in one of the hangars, you walk under all sorts of planes. not very interested in that stuff myself so don't know what kind of planes they were but yeah. was pretty sweet. stupidly expensive though, £70 tickets and every drink was £6 it was nuts. but worth it for the girls.
