Lol Deadline’s comment about Wreck It Ralph’s cinemascore being lower than the first film:

Ralph scored an A- CinemaScore (down from his A on his first film) and four stars on PostTrak, however, you wouldn’t know the audience’s change in opinion looking at the grosses as they decide with their wallets.

Um, it’s opening day, how are they supposed to know the cinemascore wasn’t as good for this one   😂😂

I thought Disney was supposed to be pushing Christopher Robin to $100 million?

They are only updating it with weekend numbers.

Being only 900K away I'd say lets see where it is at after the Thanksgiving weekend.

Sharp % increase, still dedicated to pushing it, if not then they aren't.

Can we officially cancel Johnny Depp now? Or Hollywood will continue to give second chances to the monster?

I'm not going to get into that because I don't want to argue with his fans but I'll generically say that Depp schtick adds nothing to any film's box office at this point. WB could have saved 15-20mil by keeping Colin Farrell and the film would have performed the exact same as it is now. And yes, the Potter connection would have kept the overseas numbers just as robust.
