Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings | Marvel Studios | 92% RT & 99% VA Score | ONLY IN THEATERS Sep 3 2021

They overplay the bus fight which is something we've seen in CM, Spiderman movies, etc. But if you look closely in the featurette, you'll see much more epic stuff in China that includes Shang Chi's "rhino" - a fake looking giant lion (from 1:40 min mark).  As a big fan of BP's rhino, I'm looking forward to SC's lion.

Ok after watching the new featurette and  everything else one thing is clear:

Tony Leung has clearly been dubbed over for some reason. It is really noticeable.

Look at the poster and zoom in. His role may not be as big as it seems in the trailers - he is not one of the top billed actors, and is after “with” along with Michelle Yeoh. That usually refers to actors that are there for special appearance… no?

Josh Brolin was after "with" in Infinity War even though Thanos has more screentime than any of the individual Avengers, and Jake Gyllenhaal got the "and" credit on the Far From Home poster. I don't think it points to the size of Leung's role here one way or the other.

Nah, he got the "and" which at least in Marvel movies they give to respected veteran actor more often than not. Like Michael Douglas getting the and in the Ant Man movies or whatever.

"With/And" credit is usually for big names in supporting roles. For Marvel examples there's Redford, Douglas, Jackson, etc. No relation to screentime. You'll also get "With (X) as (Character Name)" too. It's a mark of distinction.

People are worried this'll be delayed for Delta with Clifford but A: this can afford a slight hit to their numbers, Clifford can't, and B: no way in hell can Marvel afford to turn the ship around now.

Not just Marvel; s lot of studios do this when a very eminent actor has a  small part.

Again: size of the part is not relevant.

So my guess is tracking at about 60-75 for this. Lower than Black Widow, but not by much since this won't have Premiere Access.

That just means his agent negotiated that credit for him. It usually goes to more experienced actors in the cast.

Since Venom didn't put the date in trailer 2 sparking speculation that it could move, Shang-chi could end up having the whole September to itself. Having Venom in the 4th week of release is already a huge advantage but if Venom moves it's the whole month.
