Finished watching G2..oh, the sweet member berries. I thing has definitely changed. In OG (1984) they pretty much chain smoked. It was like a walking cigarette commercial at times. In G2 (1989) I think I didn't see any cigarette but some non-burning cigars. I bet that GA doesn't have any of these...and if it would have something, it would be a joint.

Cinema fucked up projection and the blues were brought up while all the other colors were brought down. Made the whole thing look like a dreary war drama. I don't think I've seen a cinema fuck up the color grading of a movie before.

Both 1% up, and so far stabilized around 61-62% and 95-96%.

 

A small wish that critics stay on top of 60% and don't fall into rotten. I think it would avoid a lot of unnecessary crying again. I'm hoping that "jumping on the winners bandwagon" effect keeps it on top of 60% now that critics see the audience response.

 

I'm surprised how high the audience number has stayed.

Yeah this is the fault of studios, why aren't they making more original films the audiences can't get enough of, like The Last Duel, Spencer, Last Night in Soho, King Richard, etc.?
