Spider-Man: No Way Home | December 17, 2021 | The More Fun Stuff Version (yes, that's what it's called) comes to theaters September 2nd!

VFX was pretty rough on this and the doc orc  joke was honestly just terrible.

Nods to other spidermen were a little to much especially the garfield one.

Still think toby and Andrew will appear at least the third act .

Trailer was fine I'm still excited for this.

looks like it’s gonna come in about 15-20% behind the first in 24HR numbers.

Yep (probably a bit higher). But based on the insane start, if they had shown the big shot, 400m would have been done easily. Will have to settle for 250-280m I suppose. This one didn't really show that much more than what we knew from the first trailer so a fairly hefty drop makes sense.

Just to note, totally random

Hey remember when they edited the trailer for Endgame with a different costume for Captain America to hide he was wearing the Avengers 1 suit?

Hey here's a totally unrelated shot from the new trailer of..."Tom Holland's" suit, and definitely his mask.

Comments on the trailer on YouTube seem positive but they definitely do expect Tobey and Andrew to appear in the final film

Because they are in it.

Imagine thinking that they would bring back all these other universe characters from Goblin to Sandman to Ock to Jamie Foxx but they are going to leave out Tobey and Andrew?

Come on people.

This still just looks like an inferior Into the Spider-Verse. If this thing gets negative reviews hooo-doggy look out because the meltdowns are going to be unprecedented.

I hope Sony does a Venom 2 and don't show it to critics (?) or lift embargo till opening day.

So I think this may be it

this looks like a terrible movie, hopefully has no consequences on MCU big picture. END this Sony deal ASAP.

Couldn't agree more.

Spoiler

This looks way to overstuffed ala 2007s Spiderman 3. The story looks confusing and there are too many characters to properly cover. The potential for this to be a mess is serious.

No one will care if it gets a 0% once they deliver that sweet sweet T&A

For some reason, it is now fashionable to bring actors from previous, unconnected iterations of the character to the more recent movies (as in The Flas with Batman), and because people have a nostalgic attachment to those previous iterarions, somewhow it seems like a good idea. Honestly, it feels very cheap, creatively speaking, and there's no way the actual scenes of the three Spiderman actors together lives up to how cool the idea might seem.

It's like the starting point was to have the actors all together in this and then work out a story to somehow justify it. I apologize for being so bitter, but this is lame. It's just reinforcing two of the most pervasive tendencies in blockbuster filmaking these days: one-liners and nostalgia catering.

The Flash will actually benefit (it seems) as audiences will be more familiar with the multiverse concept by then. I think the confusion could hurt some with NWH
