When The Dark Tower movie flops big time, they are finally going to stop putting DT references in all of Stephen's movies.

There's always connection in Stephen King films or at least the books to other films. I can definitely confirm there is one massive connection between it and another property but it does not take place until the adult story. Every time I read it I giggle.

Could you remind me?

I need to watch both the IT miniseries again as well as The Stand to see if they hold up. When IT was announced I didn't think this was necessary and the Tim Curry version haunted me for years but these trailers have been so good that I am super fucking pumped man, can't wait!

IT and The Stand are Stephen King's greatest novels.

I'm super happy IT is getting a shot as a movie.

My dream is that a big budget The Stand film trilogy will done done one day.

Also, whatever happened to the adaption of The Stand that was supposed to happen?

Seems like a novel ripe for some sort of adaption.

The Dark Tower happened.

Spoiler

And since The Man in Black and Randall Flagg are the same character...I think the fan casting of Matty Mc as Flagg will be hurt by TDT bombing.

I'm going to skip all the tv spots.  The 2 trailers were enough.  While I know the story and book obviously, I still want to go in as fresh as I can.

But I'm sure that tv spot is good ;)
