Hmmm, you can you pm it to me please?

I don't want to know what it is, I just want your opinion on if it's a bad change or not

Well if it comes out on the 11th, then I imagine if not tonight, tomorrow, cause isn't there a rule that if a movie screens too late before release, that chances are, it's not that good??? Or if they hold off on releasing reviews til the last minute is never a good sign???

It's not out for another 4 weeks though.

For hardcores who love thd book itll bother them. But as a horror movie its a change that isnt that big a deal.

Thanks.

So I'm prepared to be bothered but since I can appreciate the movie can be different, I should be ok...hopefully lol

The thing about the book is that there is so much in it that you just couldn't film. It works on page but would be very hard (and expensive) to do on film. Let's just hope they do something a little better than what the mini series did.

I’ve spoken before about how the adaptation of what is essentially half of King’s mammoth 1,000+ page novel has a shot at being the proverbial Beauty and the Beast of horror movies. By that I mean that it is playing on nostalgia toward multiple generations of moviegoers who discovered the property through multiple venues (the book or the 1990 ABC mini-series) at various points in their lives. And even dissociated from the source material, It is still a big-ish budget (around $35-$40m), R-rated, 135-minute horror spectacular concerning young kids from the 1980’s doing battle with a scary clown. That would be the event movie of the Halloween season even if it wasn’t based on an iconic novel.

This is a great point. Personally speaking, it was the very first King novel I read as a 10-year old lad. I've always remained tremendously fond of it, while there's also the terrifying memories of watching the miniseries. We know most King films suck, but it's obvious why there would be a strong nostalgic kick here.
