Not bad for Jumanji. It should do about $13-$15 million for 2-Days and do probably $30-$40 million 3-day and do $43-$56 million 5-day, and do $38-$50 million 4-day with $51-$63 million 6-day. Finish its run with $150-$160 million domestic. Make some money back international. Sony will have a final profit.

As for Showman, that will see some backloading. And do $70-$80 million domestic  in the states and make some overseas cash back.

Pitch Perfect 3 will be sucessful, and Father Figures/Downsizing will both bomb. Especially look at Downsizing’s production budget:insane::hahaha:

Seems like David Ayers is just a poor director that has had some lucky hits.

In his defense, his last two films were based on scripts that he either had to finish in 5 weeks' time (including research time on decades spanning comics and characters) or written by Max Landis

Don't forget the Max Landis script. What possessed Smith to sign up for a Landis script....huh

The bigger question is, what possessed Netflix to pay Landis 3 million for his Landis script? :qotd:

1st viewing of TLJ:  REally disliked it:  5/10

2nd viewing:  Liked it much more:  8/10

3rd viewing:  Didn't hate it as much as the first or like it as much as I wanted to in the second.  Still have problems with pace, flow and writing and some of the character arcs.  6.5 or 7 out of 10

Murder on the Orient Express and Daddy's Home 2 are both looking to hit 100M on the same day.  Probably Saturday, December 23rd, on their 44th day of release.  110 possible for Express.  120 possible for DH2 depending on how the new films hit.  If Jumanji hits DH2 hard, then scratch everything shown above.
