I need more blockbuster series that are exciting. The past 6 years have felt overwhelmingly Marvel or superheroes...Avatar is the film cinema needs right now. A breath of fresh air.

Almost one week our, and based on these positive critic reactions I’d have to guess maybe $700M DOM, $550M China, and $1.65B OS-C for a WW total of $2.9B, just barely missing out on $3B

As of three hours ago, Avatar 2 hit $8.5m in China ticket presales, best presale number of 2022, outpacing The Battle of Lake Changjin II. Could hit $600m in China or better if WOM is great.

I would love to see this scenario come true, but I think you've way overestimated OS-C.

Going with $600M US, $400M China, $1B OS-C for a nice, round $2B for now.

It's doing way more than 600M domestic if it opens closer to 190M.

$1B OS-C is a bit low. I’d say $1.25B at a minimum.
