I'm not feeling either this or Pirates 5 tbh. Won't be surprised if it ends up being yet another lukewarm Memorial Day weekend after most of the ones this decade.

They're actually running a couple dozen screenings tomorrow, May 17th, through the AMC Stubs premiere program. I was unfortunately was a little late to the party and wasn't able to grab passes.

Looks like two critics from Empire here in the U.K. went to see Baywatch (most likely) last night: actually could be Rough Night. 

 

Nick De Semlyen: "Still shaking my head at the atrocious summer movie I saw last night" 

 

Chris Hewitt: "Yep. A true stinker. It's identity will be revealed in due course"

 

Kat Brown (Glamour) replied "I adored this summer movie and I laughed a lot" 

 

 

Lots of responses with gifs of The Rock and a lot of "I'll be ready" and "bay- bae" comments. 

 

 

 

Wait... one of the critics liked a comment about "Night" so it could actually be Rough Night.

BOGO is out on Atom for anyone who wants to see this and missed the free screenings:)...

 

I am pretty excited for this movie (can I admit it's the 1st summer movie I'm attending - yes, I am lame, but I was a lifeguard and how can I not support the profession:)...I'm sure I spent time stopping terrorists and other criminals while I was twirling a whistle for hours - I just didn't know it!

I heard "hairless gorilla" and I'm pretty sure I chuckled. I immediately thought of the Rock being huge, and totally hairless. Like literally, there is not one strand of hair on his body. I didn't take it as racist. I could see how it could raise eyebrows, but I seriously doubt that was the intent.

I don't know why but Priyanka doesn't look as sexy in this as in Quantico or her early bollywood movies. That's a damn shame. Still a fine actor though.
