Lists are starting to come in now which is great. 

 

Lots of new people sending lists too so will be interesting to see if this changes the line up significantly from past lists,

Just submitted my Top 25. Some tidbits:

• My top three are all from the same movie and I doubt anyone else votes for them.
• Five characters are from horror films, although one film might be considered a thriller.
• No MCU characters made my list.
• One DC character made my list as did one actor most famous for his role in a DC film but I cited him for one of his other roles.
• Three characters are from black and white films.
• Eighteen characters debuted on film before 1982.
• The newest character on my list is from a 2005 film.
• Seventeen characters are male and eight are female.

I am deeply confused about putting non-fictional character in my list, do they count?

Bio-pics aren't eligible otherwise I would have had a few on my list.  Though if the character and scenario are so warped from reality I guess they're OK.  It seems a pretty narrow category.

 

No Biopic characters (obviously fictional representations such as Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter is okay, but Day Lewis Lincoln is not.)

OK folks, the actually proper permanent deadline for this is August 4th so 10 more days. 

 

I actually got a few more lists than I expected before this original deadline approached, but I was always going to extend the deadline to this as I am gonna be on vacation from Friday to the following Sunday. 

 

The final reveal itself will then begin as soon as any jetlag has subsided, so maybe Monday 6th night, otherwise Tuesday 7th.

Thank you all for the spate of entries, on the assumption that a few more will come before the deadline, this will likely be the biggest version of this list to date and thus may be a bit more interesting (or possibly a bit more generic than the past). 

 

On the plus side, I think Scrat's position in the list is under threat.
