I’ll certainly take the list as is, but if possible it makes things a lot easier if lists are submitted in the following format:

 

Movie (director, year)

 

such as:

 

Schindler’s List (dir. Steven Spielberg, 1993)

 

where each movie title is the full title of the film, and not an abbreviation.

 

There’ll be odd cases here and there where there’ll be ambiguity in intent, even beyond remakes (films with the same title, such as Persona. Or films will get abbreviated and look similar to another movie which is a more popular pick).

 

In sheets, I also input film names this way. So if you have a unique entry on your list that hadn’t been on anyone’s prior and there’s missing information, I end up having to do a quick google of it myself (if I don’t know or can’t remember a year or director). So it does make tallying the list quicker.

 

If you’ve already submitted a list, don’t worry about making this change, but if you’re currently crafting yours it makes it easier for me.
